The classic Madiba bag with African batik fabric is ideal to use for a variety of situations. This printing technique, called Batik or wax dyeing, originated in Indonesia and uses an engraving tool called "canting", a kind of pen that contains a small amount of hot liquid wax that allows you to create color reserves according to the printing patterns. Today the UN has recognized it as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The Dutch imported this technique from Java and have become major producers of this type of fabric
